Honoring Charlie
[Jer 7:3; Jer 18:11]
I haven’t heard anyone else say this, but I feel that Charlie Kirk was a reformer. He pointed the way for the young people to turn.
God had given Charlie the divine power which is crucial to counter the culture of the times. As one of God’s end-time reformers, Charlie’s voice encouraged thousands, by boldly offering young people a turning point.
Charlie was a willing vessel for the power of God to bring thousands from wickedness to righteousness. He operated in the spirit of Elijah! By never backing down from the face of the enemy, he increased the kingdom which modified the culture.
Jer 7:3 (ESV) –Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.
Amend – The NIV says, “reform your ways.” A verb meaning to be good, to be well, to be pleasing.
Jer 18:11 (NIV) …So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’
Return, from your evil ways, and reform your ways and your actions. In its simplest sense, the word means to return, to restore, or to go back.
We are in the time of a great shaking which is causing evil to be revealed. The more the church realizes that lawlessness and chaos are not God’s will, more reformers will continue boldly to turn other pillars of society to what is right.
What is the difference between revival and reformation?
A revival is where God awakens the church. Reformation is where God takes the church and uses it to go into society and demands that things turn back to the original intent – what He wanted it to be. God will continue to find Charlies (or Elijahs) to be reformers who will turn the pillars of our society to God’s righteousness.
We have known revival, but now we are in a new type of revitalization. The anointing for reformation is not the same as the anointing for revival, even though reformation includes revival. Reformation is what many call a reset.
Revival charges up the church, but reformation has an anointing for boldly demanding territory for the Kingdom of God. Lawlessness cannot stand against the resistance of Holy Spirit! God wants to reset all seven pillars of society.
It is crucial that we constantly resist satan, and submit to God by sacrificing our lives to His will. Pulling down strongholds and decreeing what our King is saying. When His Word becomes our word, the gates of Hell will not prevail.
Charlie’s organization, Turning Point USA, will live on to reform young people on the college campus. His reformers will continue to offer a turning point, and encouraged young folks to return to what God wants.
Prayer:
Lord, I ask that you give Charlie’s widow, Ericka Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA, the grace to continue to increase your kingdom. May there be millions more souls saved and filled with Holy Spirit. She will glorify and honor the Lord in her thoughts words and actions, in Jesus’ Name!
God bless you my friend,
