If Jesus defeated the devil, why are we still fighting the battle? Colossians 2:15 says that Jesus spoiled principalities and powers. Why then are we still in a constant war with the devil?

Solomon said: “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter: but the glory of kings is to search out a matter” (Prov. 25:2); So God’s glory remains hidden in His Word, but the believer as king-priest may search for it.

One of the richest and deepest mines of Scripture is the Feasts of Jehovah, outlined in Leviticus Chapter 23. It is a mine rarely dug into, and many nuggets of truth are waiting to be found there.

My desire is that in this study you will experience the same joy and blessing as in Psalm 89:15, “Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of your countenance.”

How do we know whether it’s God’s will to heal us or not? It makes little difference what others say about it. What did He say about it? Remember that God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10: 34), and He never changes (Malachi 3:6). So what He said to them yesterday, He is saying to you today.

Jesus is the head of the church. We are the body of Christ and the body has the feet. We go where the Spirit leads us and say what the Holy Spirit tells us to say. If you don’t put the enemy under your feet then the enemy is not under the feet of Jesus.

This brief study shows us the various types of prayer in the New Testament. It is interesting how the original language has various definitions, making for many possible translations with overlapping descriptions of types of prayer. God has given us many ways and examples on how to pray. There are many reasons and situations in life for prayer.

We are not good at testifying, because we (by ourselves) don’t have the power to do it if we are not filled with the Holy Spirit. It is not merely a human action. We need the Helper. It’s His responsibility. Testifying is in His job description.

Lord God our Father, You are great and awesome. You are faithful to Your word, and never fail in Your promises. Father, we have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly, and rebelled, and turned away from Your commandments. Father, you are merciful and compassionate. You have extended your mercy and grace to us, otherwise things would be much worse than they are….

The apostle Paul said that a rebellion against God and all things godly will emerge in the last days. Part of this demonic seduction taking place in the world is a state of lawlessness.

Prophecy warns us that the last days, which are here, will be very difficult, full of great stress and trouble. Life on this earth has never been without the devil, seeking to destroy everyone he can (1 Peter 5:8), but Second Timothy 3:1 makes it very clear that the last days will become even worse. The need for all believers to be strong in the Lord has never been so important.

The Bible gives us the laws of the Kingdom of God. We need to have a clear knowledge of God’s laws. And we should obey the laws of the land unless man makes laws that oppose or overrule God’s laws.
