VB193 Seize the Kingdom

Seize the Kingdom

[Mt 11:12; Lk 16:16; James 4:7; Jude 1:3]

Have you ever been sick and all your friends agree with you in prayer and the situation only grew worse? Yeah, me too!

I thought I knew my authority and faith-filled words well enough to get rid of sickness, but no. I asked Holy Spirit, “What is going on? He said, “you have this, because you accepted it.” He knows my heart, and could see the look I was giving Him.

He whispered, “You accept a poke from the devil, because you figure you can fight him off.” YES! But something is different this time. He said, “You need to become a reformer.” And I began to learn from several sources all at once what was happening.

I don’t understand everything about this yet, but I will share a part of the download.

We are in the beginning of America’s first reformation. Europe has a history of reformation, this is our first one. We have known revival movements, but now we are in a new type of revitalization.

We have had generations pray for God to save America. And we have been expecting a revival. America is not going to be saved just by a revival. It has to be a reformational move from the core of the country, and every pillar of society has to change.

A revival is where God awakens the church. Reformation is where God takes the church and He goes into society and demands that things come back to the original intent that He wanted it to be. That is what we are in right now.

Revival is in reformation, but reformation is not in revival. Some of the church recognizes a revival spirit (or anointing), but there’s something different about the spirit of reformation. It feels different and isn’t fitting quite yet, because the anointing for reformation is different. We’re not used to it yet.

The reformation spirit is the war between God and Lucifer, right and wrong, light and darkness, common sense and stupidity. It is a constant battle, and a rage. Revival is not the same kind of war. We are in a reformational war!

We need to be trained for this type of a war. Why do we have to be struck to respond? Why can’t we strike first, and start the war, and go out there and win it? That is what reformation is! Reformation is; take it to them, and don’t back off. When we charge boldly into battle and win, we can enjoy the spoils of our first American reformation war! Where we strike first with a decree!1

Complacent people always accept mediocre “second class” blessings. Always taking the less-than-best, of what is available. The one who doesn’t practice warfare is the one who will settle for sub-standard, or a smaller portion.

Why not take hold of the best portion? Why not strike first instead of waiting for an attack?

Mt 11:12 (NASB) –And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has been treated violently, and violent men take it by force.

A Babylonian system cannot handle the opposition of a bold, righteous reformer who is filled with indignation against the godless society that Babylon has produced.

Antichrist cannot argue with a Spirit-filled reformer who is violently claiming new kingdom territory! Lawlessness has advanced way too far, and without resistance!

God has given you divine power that is crucial to countering the culture of the times. It’s time for God’s end-time reformers and His prophetic voices to arise and answer the wickedness in the spirit of Elijah!

It’s time to have the boldness to act in the face of an Antichrist spirit – opposing all evil that seeks to bind the uninformed, and drive the culture into a moral void and demonic slavery.2

We are not at the mercy of a culture going mad. Instead, we must discover our righteous authority, which exceeds what the Western world has taught us about doing church.

A revelation of God’s will, based on His Word and the patterns we see throughout Scripture, ultimately blows away what I call generational Christian folklore. Forget traditional weak teaching, we need to know exactly what the Bible says – and act accordingly!

Mt 11:12 (NASB) … and violent men take it by force.

violent” is an intense pursuit of God with all my might, metaphorically “taking” the kingdom by force, as opposed to passively waiting for something to happen.

Lk 16:16 (NKJV) –“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.

Press into, and take it immediately without pondering, allowing the enemy no time to strike first.

Today, as in the days of John the Baptist, Satan is opposing the preaching of the Gospel, and only those who are violently resolved to receive God’s best will have it.

James 4:7 (NASB) –Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7 instructs us to do two things at the same time. We have to submit to God and resist the devil. We can’t truly submit to God unless we resist the devil, and we can’t truly resist the devil unless we are submitted to God. These must be done simultaneously.

The word “resist” means to actively fight against. This is not a passive word. We must have a violent resolve to take advantage of the kingdom of God. The devil loves passiveness.

The passive mind says, “It is easier to have some sickness in your body, rather than contend for the faith to be whole!” (see, Jude 1:3)

Jude 1:3 (NASB) –Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all time handed down to the saints.

This is to aggressively continue to defend the faith against anything that stands between you and the Word of God.

Example of seizing a kingdom opportunity:

I Pray and confess the Word of God before the enemy has a chance to strike. I submit myself to God and resist the devil. I contend for the faith before the enemy has anything to say.

I press myself in to seize the kingdom with force, as if I was actually grabbing hold of the kingdom. I actively resist the enemy, I know the devil loves passiveness.

When I see an opportunity, I immediately reach out with the gospel. I never again want to waste the time and later ask myself, “why didn’t I say something to that person?”

God bless you my friend,
