Oppressive Government

[Rom 13:1-7; Ps 33:12; Mk 1:27; Lk 10:19; James 4:7]

Rom 13:1-4 (ESV) – Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. [2] Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. [3] For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, [4] for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.

This chapter goes on to say pay your taxes, and keep the commands of God. Some Christians think this commands us to obey the government, no matter what! Many are slow to interpret the Bible.

Notice how Paul begins; He says, “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.” Every person should be submitted to governing authorities. The governing authorities are part of every, and they are persons. The governing authorities should submit to the rules they enact. They are not above the laws they make!

They are fake, fraudulent, counterfeit place-holders who, with the help of outside forces, have taken over positions that have been ignored by would-be true servants of God. Christians have allowed this to happen. Doctrines of demons have deceived the church from becoming involved in politics.

Romans chapter thirteen has nothing to do with submitting to an ungodly coup d’état! Our government has been run by puppeteers for too many years. We need to rally together in spiritual battle, and pull down the puppet masters who care only about doing their own evil agenda. Romans 13 has very little to do with our current situation. Lawless dictators reward the wicked, and cast innocent citizens into jail.

Psalms 33:12 (NKJV) —Blessed [is] the nation whose God [is] the LORD, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

The religious leadership was surprised at the authority Jesus used when he preached. He didn’t reference a bunch of sages and rabbis of old, He taught by His own authority (Mk 1:22).

Mk 1:27 (NKJV) —Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What new doctrine [is] this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

Jesus didn’t have any trouble confronting the devil! Jesus gave us authority over the devil, and diseases (Lk 9:1).

Lk 10:19 (NKJV) —”Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

We do not disobey our government because their authority is from God (Rom 13:1-7). But when the government becomes a terror to the good instead of to the evil, and politicians become serpents and scorpions, it’s time for resistance. There are many that have believed the lies and suggestions of the enemy, but we are NOT weak! We know the truth!

The United States of America is a godly nation built upon Biblical values and truth. The USA was founded for, and is our place of liberty. We will not allow our country to be overturned by thieves and murderers. We proclaim this with authority and in the name of Christ Jesus!

It is time to speak to the mountain (Mk 11:23). It’s time to submit to God and resist the devil (James 4:7).

James 4:7 (NKJV) —Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

This country was founded by our forefathers who were submitted to God, and who resisted the devil. They used documentation with declarations and proclamations to form this nation, and we intend to KEEP IT that way! Make your proclamations and declarations to KEEP and DEFEND our country. This is spiritual warfare!

My Proclamation:

Devil, I resist you in the name of Jesus Christ! You back off, NOW! Take your hands off God’s property! You are powerless to me, because I know how you operate and I know you are a liar and have no real power! Get back under my feet! Jesus has defeated you and He has given me authority over you!

I speak against the evil aggression of communism, voter fraud, and election manipulation. STOP NOW, in the name of Jesus.

I call an end to abortion, terrorism, and lying political agendas. Evildoers, you will be cut off, in Jesus’ name!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, open the eyes of the people who promote evil, soften their hearts to receive the gospel. We love those people, but we cannot tolerate their behavior! Give the corrupt politicians another job to do, and shut the mouths of liars. Cause them to be men and women of integrity who are obedient concerning us, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1Tim 2:1-3).

With the power of the Word of God, direction of the Holy Spirit, and the authority of the mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
