Gospel of Peace

[Isa 52:7]

Isa 52:7 (NKJV) How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

This verse was quoted in Romans 10:15, about preaching the “gospel of peace.”

Peace: Heb. shalom (shaw-lome’) safe, well, happy, friendly; also health, prosperity, peace, to be well wholly.

Salvation: Heb. yeshu’a (yesh-oo’-aw) saved, delivered, and healed. Victory, prosperity, and welfare.

My Confession:

Praise God! I have heard the gospel of peace proclaimed! The GOOD NEWS is that nothing is broken, nothing is missing. I am complete and whole. My God rules!
