Distractions

• The number-one question Christians ask: What is God’s will for my life? Most people don’t know that God’s will is His Word, the Bible. One of the enemy’s favorite things to do is distract folks from focusing on God’s will. Why don’t they know this? Well, the devil does not want you to know God or any of His kingdom stuff!

• I may have a case of “chronic detail meticulitus.” But when I what to know about a thing, I tend to dig deep to find answers. Now this is not nosiness or mere curiosity. Being nosy about a person is different than searching facts about someone’s inventions or accomplishments on a topic of interest.

• God has gifted me with the ability to focus on details, however those details are much more rewarding when they word studies, meditations on the Word of God

• Why not dig into God’s will if you want to know His will? Reading and studying the Bible is all it takes to get to know the person and place of your creator, yet most Christians are too distracted (with what they call life) to read the Bible.

• The devil likes to distract us with everything about “life,” to keep you out of the details of true life! I have said for years, “Any thing that stands between you and your Bible, is your enemy!”

• Don’t try to fight off an evil thought with a righteous thought. That’s a battle you want to win quickly! You have to fight thoughts with words!
