Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Note: Those who believed were to be baptized in water, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This associates the believer with the person of Jesus and with the Triune God.
The One God we serve is three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
