Death
Genesis. 2:17
Gen 2:17 (NKJV) —“but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Surely die: Both words “surely” and “die” mean die! Same Hebrew word for both. I believe this means spiritual death, and physical death. Sin separated man's spirit from God.
