Take Heed

Proverbs 21:23 Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Keepeth: From an old Greek word shamar (shaw-mar') that means to hedge about (as with thorns), i.e. guard; to protect, attend to, etc. To be circumspect, take heed (to self), keep, preserve, like a watchman.

My Confession: I refuse to say stupid things, and therefore keep my mind from being troubled. I choose my words carefully. I watch what I say.
