But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. --Gal. 4:4-7 NKJV
The object of the Incarnation was that man might be given the right to become a child of God (John 1:12).
Man could become a child of God only by receiving the nature of God; therefore, Christ came that man might receive eternal life (John 10:10; 1 John 5:11,12).
And man could receive eternal life only after he had been legally redeemed from Satan's authority (Col. 1:13,14).
Confession: God sent His Son to redeem us, that we might become sons of God. I have received Jesus as Lord; therefore, I have life. I am a son of God. And because I am, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into my heart, crying, "Abba, Father." I am no more a servant; but a son. I am an heir of God through Christ.
